Action] 1445 Mitchell Road - Afternoon

[America has come into possession of a puppy. A little scotty dog, to be precise. He is basically the happiest person right now. Anyone passing through Mitchell Street will see him out in the front yard playing catch with the dog with all the enthusiasm of a giant puppy himself.]

★ Eight - Wake up Little Susie
A] 1445 Mitchell Road - Morning

[Ahhh, what a lovely sunny day in Mayfield! Assuming all that other mess is done with. America feels exceptionally well-rested today!

He puts on his bathrobe and slippers and heads downstairs to pick up the newspaper off the front porch before starting on breakfast, and-- wait.

July 23rd?]

I missed my birthday!?

B] Neutron Diner - Afternoon

[Bummed out about apparently misplacing three weeks somewhere, including the most important day of the year, America has helped himself to a very large ice cream sundae and is eating it all by himself.]

☆ Seven - We've secretly replaced America with Folgers Crystals. Let's see who notices.
A] Action - 1445 Mitchell Road

[America wakes up to his alarm clock, stretches, smiles, and leans over to kiss his wife on the cheek.] Good morning, sweetheart! [He gets out of bed, puts on his bathrobe and slippers and heads for the bathroom.] I should be down to breakfast in half an hour. [Hint hint.]

B] Action - Around Town

[Anyone running into America today might notice that he's more chipper than usual. Or, maybe not. It's sort of hard to tell.]

Beautiful sunny day, isn't it, neighbor? Supposed to be lovely this weekend. Might take the family out for a picnic.

★ Six - I've seen Fire and I've seen Rain
[His first real experince with the horror that is Mayfield, and it had to be zombies. When it came to injuries, he'd had worse-- flaming death included. But he got a queasy feeling in his stomach thinking about... tearing people's throats out. Trying to eat his sister. War was hell, but you didn't eat people.

Then there was the little matter of his recovery. It wasn't going so well. Well... ordinary humans didn't tend to recover from things like that at all, so all things considered it was actually going swimmingly. But he was still a sight; his skin was pink and raw where it wasn't covered in ugly blackish scabs. His face is probably the worst of it: he's missing an eye, part of his chin and most of his throat. It's pretty nasty, and he doesn't really want to subject anyone to that, so his intention was to hole up in his bedroom 'til it healed a little better.]

A] The Firehouse - Tuesday

[The second day of skipping work he got an irate call from his drone boss, chewing him out for shirking his responsibilities and putting all of Mayfield at risk. Well, that was no good. His hero instincts wouldn't let him stay home after that, so he shows up to the fire station looking like the poster child for Fire Safety himself.]

B] Annie's Flowers - Wednesday

[His wounds are healing a bit by now, so after work he ventures to stop by the flower shop to pick up a few things. How do you appropriately say to someone "I'm sorry for trying to eat you?"]

C] 1447 Mitchell Road - Wednesday

[Knock knock. America's at your door with a bouquet and a box of chocolates.]

D] Around town - Anytime

[You might run into America on his way around town-- feel free to bug him. He's wearing long sleeves and a scarf despite the beautiful, temperate early June weather.]

☆ Five - Home of the Free and the Brave
A] Phone (unfiltered)

Hey, everyone knows it's Memorial Day coming up, right? It's time to honor the sacrifices our forefathers made so we could live in such an awesome, free, and democratic country!

Well, America I mean, not Mayfield in specific. But we should still celebrate! I'm havin' a cookout this weekend at my place, so everyone's welcome to stop by. There's gonna be burgers and hot dogs and corn on the cob and apple pie and all sorts of great stuff!

B] Action - 1445 Mitchell Road

[Anyone passing by the Jones place might spot America standing out by his fence, engaged in cheery conversation with his drone neighbor. If you get close enough, they're talking about manly grilling things, like propane and propane accessories.]

★ Four - Rock Around the Clock
[Phone]

So this prom isn't just for the high school kids, right? I've always wanted to go to one! They always seemed really swell. The kids have lots of fun.

But I need a date! So who wants to go with me? I'm a real good dancer!

[Later, Phonecall to Canada]

Hey. I need to talk with you.

☆ 3 - This is like, totally uncool! [4/13]
A) The Firehouse - Daytime

[Anyone who happens to be passing by might spot Poland doing chin-ups on the equipment rack or push-ups in the driveway. He looks like he's struggling a little with it, but he's still got a pretty good streak going. Gotta make this scrawny body good for something! And if his clothes look a little too big for him, like he raided his drone son's closet or something, well, who's going to say anything?]

B) Burger Bonanza - Evening

[After a hard day of being stuck like this, it's time for a treat! These burgers sure are awesome, aren't they! Awesome and super duper greasy. It's the American way.]

((OOC: Responses will come from [personal profile] polejokes!))

★ Two - Backdated to the beginning of the week
A) Olney's Tavern - Evening

[So a little birdie told him that in the future, we beat the Reds. (Or close enough, whatever.) That calls for a celebration! Come join him? Drinks all around!]

B) Around Town - Night

[Oops-- America hasn't quite gotten used to the fact that he's fully human here in Mayfield. Which means, his alcohol tolerance is much, much lower than usual. He'll be stumbling back toward Mitchell Road, assuming he can find it, or even remember where it is that he's supposed to be living.]

☆ 1 - And you may tell yourself, this is not my beautiful house
A) 1445 Mitchell Road - Morning

[So, this isn't his house. And these aren't his pajamas. (Nice though-- he might just keep them.) And he actually had gone to sleep in his own bed the night before, semi-rare occurence as that was, so it seems particularly strange. Everything is all very familiar though; he'd been in a million houses just like it, it could fit in easily in any one of his suburbs.

... The picture on the night stand though? The one of him with an attractive woman who had only the vaguest familiarity about her? In a wedding dress? That was new.]

Now what in the heck is this business?

B) Around Town - Early Afternoon

[Well as long as he's here, he might as well scope out the town. See what's cool, and all that. It's strange-- he's definitely sure the town is one of his, but he can't place it at all. Actually, he can't really place anything at all.]
